Friends,
Hope you’re all relatively well.
The Sunny, I Was Wrong LP is out today! Feels like it’s been a long time coming. Had to jump a few hurdles and thread a few needles to make it happen. (Just about every hurdle and needle had to do with money, sadly, but we got there.)
A slight understatement to say I’m relieved to have this record on the outside of me. I sincerely hope you all enjoy it. I do think it’s my favorite and my best…so far. But what do I know. I liked Ishtar.
Included is a little video of me playing the title track at the kitchen table where I wrote it and pretty much every other song over the past 15 years. It’s been a good table.
There are some live dates on the books and being booked:

I’ll be in Philly today performing live at lunchtime on WXPN. And tomorrow I will be in NYC at Rough Trade Records, playing a few songs and signing some records. I THINK it starts at 3:00 at Rough Trade. If you’re interested in showing up, you might check the time.
I may be slow to reply to comments because I’ll be moving around. Substacking and driving is illegal in most states.
Thank you all for listening to the music, buying records, coming to shows, subscribing to Substack all these years. I think this is my 18th or 19th or 20th album. That’s nuts. I certainly would not have been able to release even a fraction of those without listeners like you all. And if you keep listening to them, I’ll keep releasing them.
As always, take care of yourselves and those around you.
JP
