Friends,
As I might have mentioned yesterday, I wrote The Black And The Blue where I’ve written just about every song these past 15 years: In my kitchen. (Probably an Italian family thing. The kitchen was always the hang-out room.) So here’s a little video of me playing the song in the kitchen of its genesis. I think those of you who are interested in that kind of thing can see where my hands are on the guitar. Either way, it’s a pretty simple song that anyone with a basic grip on rhythm guitar playing can sort easily. (No curveballs in this one.)
I’ll do a post next that’ll include an early demo of the song and a write up about the recording of the studio version.
