Hope this finds you all well. Things are pretty okay up here in Canada. Starting to look like fall, which is a great time to be here (and on a bicycle, of course.)
Anyway, last year I thought I’d finished writing this song. In fact, I recorded during some recording sessions I did up here with a crazy cast of great musicians. More on that in the coming months. But this song Things They Shouldn’t Say just wasn’t cutting it for me. It occurs to me I did a Substack for this song a while back. And that recording also suffers from what ailed the studio recording: It’s just too damn long, and that fat needed trimming. So trim I did. And I can confidently say the song has been truncated to the just the essentials. I’ll talk more about it in tomorrow’s post.
